Took place at the Grand Mercure Hotel Jakarta, the delegation from UIN Raden Fatah Palembang attended the MoU signing between five UINs in Indonesia, including UIN Raden Fatah Palembang and Universiti Utara Malaysia.

The delegation of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang who attended in the MoU signing were: The Rector of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang (Prof Dr. Nyayu Khodijah), who was accompanied directly by the Head of the Academic Bureau (Drs. H. Jumari Iswadi, M.M), and the Head of the Office of International Affairs (Susi Herti Afriani, PhD).

In addition to the signing of the MoU with the Universities, today’s meeting was followed by the signing of an MoA between UUM and the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Sciences. The signing was attended by Prof. Ahmad Zainuri (The Dean of FITK), and The Public Relations of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang.

UUM Delegation who were present in person to Jakarta, namely:

  2. Prof. Dr. Yahya Don (Dean of School of Education)
  3. Associate. Prof. Dr. Mohd. Khairie Ahmad (Dean of School of Multimedia Technology and Communication)
  4. Associate. Prof. Dr. Arpah Abu Bakr (Director of Center for International Affairs and Cooperation (CIAC))
  5. Dr. Azahar Kasim (Media Co-ordinator UUM Corporate Communications)
  6. Mr. Mohd Azri Abdulaziz (Assistant Director of CIAC)

This MoU was initiated by the Ministry of Religious affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Ali Ramdhani, Director General of Islamic Higher Education, convey that the MoU signing was a form of how we build civilization. Not only carrying out formal functions, but also education and this signing were expected to be able to build generation, in line with its main goal, namely the DOUBLE DEGREE program.
